We had gone for a walk after a pretty decent storm, and was on my way to the trail as the sun began to come back out. It was a warmer summer day, and the rain had been a bit cooling to the air and land for a bit of time.
We got to the trail and creek after the shorter drive, and I just could not believe what I saw when we arrived. I don't even know if I can yet put it to words. It was like the heavens opened up and shone down the pathway. It was calm, peaceful, yet so exciting and breathtaking at seeing something like this.
The Rays were just all over. Everywhere. Over the creek, through the trees, on the trail... Light from Above shining down after the storm through the fog that formed just in this area, for the most part. I was so overwhelmed with it all, my eyes welled up as I thanked God for this beautiful moment and scenery and for this walk.
This was so unexpected, which is what made it even more emotional.
Just when you think you have seen it all, well, I now have learned that is not possible.
And also realize, the more I'm learning, the less I really know.
Expect the unexpected. Never stop being amazed. It's in the (what we may perceive as) "little" things, where great things lie.
So we walked down this amazing path- Bella by my side- and enjoyed the Glory surrounding us.
